Together with my sister Sinikka Nopola (1953-2021), we wrote 60 children's novels, Sinikka also wrote books for adults and I wrote Siri books for children. The rhythm of the language was very important to us, we thought carefully about the order of the words and even decided on commas, periods and exclamation marks together. Since we were siblings, we could disagree on things and we also often had a lot of fun writing together. That was perhaps the reason why our cooperation lasted for more than 30 years.
