In 1988, my sister Sinikka asked me to write a children's book with her.
She claimed she didn't know any children, while I had known hundreds of children while working as a special-needs kindergarten teacher. I obeyed my older sister and changed my profession. And that's how I became a writer.

Tiina Nopola - author, playwright, screenwriter and film producer.
Together with her sister Sinikka Nopola, Tiina has written the popular Hayflower ja Quiltshoe book series as well as the Ricky Rapper book series. She also writes Siiri picture books and screenplays for the big screen.
