Kot kot kot, kluk kluk kluk!
Quiltshoe's summer vacation starts lonely, because big sister Hayflower is going to camp. Fortunately, Alibullen's ladies Helga and Halise find Quiltshoe a new friend, Anita the chicken. Quiltshoe teaches it tricks, and the chicken turns out to be surprisingly docile. When Hayflower returns home from camp, he is shocked because Quiltshoe has put a chicken in his bed. But the next morning, the shock is even greater: Anita the chicken has disappeared without a trace! The whole Kattilakoski family, Alibullen's ladies and constables Rillirousku and Isonapa go on a chicken hunt. One complication follows another, before everything is resolved in a surprising way.
Familiar actors will be seen in the adult roles: Niina Lahtinen, Joonas Nordman, Janne Kataja, Lari Halme, Krisse Salminen and Pirjo Heikkilä. The new child stars, sisters Eedla and Klaara Höglund, are charming as Hayflower and Quiltshoe. The beautiful and skilled chicken individuals, whose role names are Anita and Cynthia, also shine on the big screen. The film was directed by Reetta Aalto.
