Ricky Rapper and the wild machine is the ninth of the film series. Go see it in cinemas countrywide.
The fast-paced and humorous story begins when Aunt Rauha slips pizzas through the crack in the door to Risto, who has locked himself in his room. Every now and then, a "whoop" comes from the room. Rauha believes that Risto is writing poetry, but the neighbor Nelli Nuudelipää has a different opinion, and gets angry with Risto when he doesn't notice her. Downstairs Lennart Lindberg thinks Risto has turned into a recluse. The reason is not Ruonilu, but the game machine, on the screen of which the ukkels beat each other. The machine ends up in Lennart's custody, but soon a "whooping" can be heard from his apartment as well. Will Rauha finally get Risto and Mr. Lindberg out of the machine's suction?#The work, illustrated by Aino Havukainen and Sami Toivonen, will be published in honor of the movie with a film cover and a supplement.
Child actors Otso Törmälä and Meri Lahikainen play the lead roles as Risto and Nell. The film also features Rauha Räppääjä, Lennart Lindberg and Pakastaja-Elvi, played by Minka Kuustonen, Ylermi Rajamaa and Jenni Kokander. Other adult roles are played by, among others, Jutta Järvinen and Aku Sipola. The film was directed by Maria Sid.
Ricky Rapper and the doppelganger is set to premiere in cinema on 14 February 2025. The film is the tenth in the series.
